KNOW JESUS
If you have never received Jesus as your personal Savior, we would like to help you today!
Have you ever considered this question?
Do you know without any doubt that you would spend eternity in Heaven when you die?
That may appear to be a question that is impossible for anyone to answer, but consider this verse from the Bible: "I write these things to you... that you may know that you have eternal life." (1 John 5:13)
What is eternal life? How can one know that he or she has it?
Eternal life means to live with God forever. It is the opposite of everlasting punishment in Hell.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16).
Eternal life comes only through the Lord Jesus Christ.
"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" (John 14:6)
Eternal life is a gift that must be received, not worked for.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Eternal life is received by understanding and believing what God has said, and asking Him to save you from your sins.
You must understand and believe the following four things that God has said are true of you:
1. You have sinned against God's holy law.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
2. Your sin must be punished and paid for.
"For the wages of sin is death." (Romans 6:23)
3. You cannot do anything to pay for your sins or save yourself.
"We know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ… because by works of the law no one will be justified." (Galatians 2:16).
4. Only the Lord Jesus Christ is able to save you from your sins and judgment.
"And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12).
"Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him." (John 3:36).
What should you do?
"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)
"For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13)
Would you call upon the Savior now?
Please pray to God a sincere prayer such as this:
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve to be punished in hell for my sin. I know that I cannot save myself from my sins. Lord, I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and took the place for my punishment. Right now, as best as I know how, I am asking you to forgive me of my sins. Dear Lord Jesus, please come into my life and save me from judgment and give me a home in heaven. By faith I accept your gift of eternal life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen."
